# Terms of Service (draft)
Effective date: 20 September 2026
## 1. What this service is
CryptoDon ("we") operates cryptodon.cc, a **notification tool for streamers**. Viewers send
cryptocurrency **directly** from their own wallet to the wallet address published by the
streamer. We never receive, hold, control or transmit those funds, and we take **no fee**
from donations.
We only:
- show the donor a payment page with payment details;
- watch public blockchain data for incoming transfers;
- display an on-stream alert once a transfer is confirmed.
We are not a payment processor, money transmitter, exchange, custodian or financial adviser.
## 2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service, both as a streamer and as a donor.
## 3. Streamer accounts
- Accounts are created only by signing in with a channel on a supported streaming platform.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the wallet addresses you enter. **Funds sent to a
wrong address cannot be recovered by us.**
- You must enable two-factor authentication before changing a wallet address.
- You are responsible for everything displayed on your stream, including donation messages,
and for moderating them using the tools we provide.
- You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on donations you receive.
## 4. Donations
- A donation is a voluntary transfer of value from a viewer to a streamer. It is **not a
purchase** of goods or services and is **non-refundable**. Blockchain transactions cannot
be reversed by us.
- Amounts shown in USD or EUR are estimates based on exchange rates at the time of display.
- The minimum amount and optional paid extras (voice-over, custom animation, custom sound)
are set by each streamer.
- We may fail to match a transfer to a donation if the payment instructions are not followed
exactly. In that case the funds still reach the streamer, but no alert is shown.
## 5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to: break the law; harass, threaten or defame anyone; publish
advertising, links, contacts or solicitations through donation messages; distribute malware;
attempt to bypass our filters, rate limits or security measures; or impersonate others.
See the [Content Policy](content-policy.md).
## 6. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the accuracy of
blockchain data provided by third parties, or the delivery of alerts. To the maximum extent
permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the
preceding 12 months, which on the free plan is zero.
We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain transactions, incorrect wallet addresses,
network fees, exchange-rate changes, third-party platform outages, or the compromise of your
account on a streaming platform.
## 7. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, is used for fraud, or creates
legal risk for us or for the streaming platforms.
## 8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the service at least 14 days
before they take effect.
## 9. Governing law
The governing law will be the law of the jurisdiction where the operating company is registered. The company is being incorporated; this section will be updated before the public launch, and users will be notified of the change.
